Usually, when there is talk of metalwork, everyone depicts something strong, massive, and on worst cases robust, that to achieve even slightly comely appearance has to be coated with other materials and/or substances. In reality almost anything can be fashioned out of metal – starting from fragile things that touch ones sense of style to it’s deepest depths and won’t leave indifferent even the most art inexpert people, to practical and elegant solutions, where the distinct metallic freshness is what charms the viewer. Where other materials demand massiveness, depending on materials strength properties (rather it’s softness) or technological restrictions, that turn the use of slim forms rather impossible, metal enables to create laconic, light and solid solutions, that have no equal in it’s kind. So, what do we do? Overall, the fruits of our labour are called interior design details. We fashion it all out of stainless steel, brass, aluminum and copper. |
